Friends. We’ve had a ton of interest in keto-friendly goodies, and we want everyone to know that we hear you + we’re super working on it.
The Ketogenic Diet is based on consuming the following foods on the regular:
· Good fats, sourced from organic, pasture-raised, grass-fed meats, as well as fish, free-range eggs, coconuts, avocado, butter, ghee and olives
· Protein, from the same clean sources as listed above
· Fresh, high-fibre veg, with an emphasis on leafy greens
· Nuts and seeds, especially from fattier sources, like macadamia and almonds
The idea is to eat a low-carb diet that avoids starchy veg, sugar and processed ingredients, and instead focuses on moderate protein and high fat. In short, this magic combo works to put your body into a state of “ketosis”, finding its main energy source from liver-producing ketones. This process all revolves around the consumption of good, healthy fats. (Bam. Science.)

The culinary challenge for Yours Truly is to create products that avoid these things, while also incorporating the ideal ingredients and ratios above.

Where We’re At
Currently, the closest thing to a keto-friendly item we have on our menu is our Cashew Bar. While it isn’t sugar-free, it is grain-free, and crazy good.
